New Brighton
(MN) Christian Church, located in the north
suburbs of Minneapolis-St. Paul, is seeking
a full-time youth minister who has a
passion to lead and disciple. The church averages
150 on Sunday morning. The ideal candidate will be a
baptized believer in Jesus Christ who is committed
to the authority of the Bible and the principles of
the Restoration Movement. A degree in a related
field is necessary; experience is a plus. The person
in this position will evangelize and disciple youth
into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ,
develop youth activities, recruit and train adult
leaders, teach, and provide pastoral care of youth
and families. Personal characteristics should
include a love for God’s people of all ages,
enthusiasm, energy, good communication skills,
organization, and the ability to lead by example.
